8th November 2024 — This World Radiography Day, HSL proudly joined the global radiography community in commemorating Wilhelm Roentgen’s 1895 discovery of x-radiation, a milestone that transformed medical imaging.
To mark the occasion, HSL team members visited Tallaght University Hospital, Lancashire Teaching Hospital, and Milton Keynes University Hospital to engage with radiography teams and celebrate their essential role in healthcare. These visits highlighted the dedication of radiographers to patient care, and provided an opportunity to discuss advancements in imaging technology and patient safety.
World Radiography Day is a time for reflection on the importance of diagnostic imaging for early and accurate diagnosis, as well as an opportunity to raise public awareness around the vital contributions of radiography professionals.
HSL remains committed to supporting the radiography profession through state-of-the-art imaging solutions that improve diagnostic capabilities and enhance patient experiences. We thank all radiographers for their invaluable contributions to healthcare, and we look forward to further advancements in this critical field.
